Álvaro da Nobrega is one of the main antagonists of TV Globo's telenovela Amor de Mãe. He is a corrupt bussinessman who is capable of anything to get what he wants. He is married to Verena and rivalizes with Sandro, Davi and eventually, Vitória Amorim and Raul Camargo. CEO of the PWA enterprise, Álvaro is achenemy of the ambientalist Davi, who chases his company due pollution and ambiental crimes.
He is portrayed by Irandhir Santos.
